Brenda is an undergraduate student at Arizona State University majoring in Molecular Biosciences & Biotechnology. She’s been a member of the Jiang lab since the Spring of 2024 and is interested in applying molecular and computational techniques to research. Her previous research experience involves utilizing bioinformatic techniques in epidemiology research and studying RNA viruses like influenza, canine parvovirus, and more. Brenda hopes to further her knowledge in biology and work with others in the lab. Besides research, Brenda enjoys weightlifting, collage-making, and watching true crime.
