Shreya is an undergraduate student at Arizona State University pursuing a major in Biomedical Science and a minor in Data Science. She has been a member of the Jiang lab since Spring 2024 with an interest in pursuing research in evolution and genetics. Her previous research experience includes a cohort study centered around community outreach and Peto’s paradox in the elephant genome. Shreya looks forward to working with the Jiang lab to pursue her research interest in evolution from a genetics perspective while collaborating with other like-minded people at the Jiang lab. Other than research, Shreya’s interests include hiking and exploring national parks, aquarium keeping, and painting.
